Our team of dedicated professionals brings a wealth of experience and a passion for mental health care to the Grundy Eunoia Wellness Center. Each member of our staff is committed to creating a supportive environment and delivering personalized care.

Adam Kotowski, LSW, MBA, MSW – Clinical Director
Adam Kotowski, MBA, MSW, LSW, is a visionary mentor and the creator of The
Extraordinary Me Program, designed to support neurodivergent individuals, student-
athletes, and challenged youth in discovering their identity, mission, and purpose. With
over 20 years of experience, Adam has mentored thousands of young people,
empowering them to navigate life’s challenges and embracing their extraordinary
potential. He holds an MBA from Capella University, an MSW in Social Work from the
University of Illinois, and certifications in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming),
hypnotherapy, and Quantum Healing Hypnosis. An accomplished author of You Are
Extraordinary and My Extraordinary ADHD/ADD, Adam’s diverse background as an
athlete, mentor, and father of four fuels his commitment to guiding youth toward
purpose-driven lives.

Stacey Johnson, BSN, FNP-BC – Health Specialist
Stacey Johnson has served the community as a nurse for nearly 30 years, with a special focus on holistic care and mental health. After earning her BSN and FNP-BC from Olivet Nazarene University, she transitioned from inpatient care to family practice. Recognizing a critical need for pediatric mental health resources, she completed a Mental Health Fellowship through UC Irvine to enhance her expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. Stacey has been an advocate for increased mental health services since the pandemic, collaborating with the Community Foundation of Grundy County to develop comprehensive intake assessments and support group programs for local families.
Stacey is looking forward to contribute her expertise in pediatric mental health to GEWC and support local families on their wellness journeys.

Craig Warner, LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor
Craig Warner is a compassionate social worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals achieve their personal goals and navigating life’s challenges. With a master’s degree in social work and a background spanning both clinical settings and schools, this brings a well-rounded perspective to my practice. My approach is client-centered, integrating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Guided by the belief that everyone has the right to define and achieve their version of happiness and success. I am dedicated to empowering clients on their journey to well-being.

Sandy Rakes – Special Education Advocate
Sandy Rakes is a passionate advocate for children with learning and emotional challenges. A retired Director of Special Education, she holds a Master of Science in Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Illinois State University. Sandy specializes in supporting children with learning disabilities, cognitive impairments, autism, and emotional/behavioral disorders. Her lifelong mission has been to ensure that struggling children and young adults receive the advocacy and resources they need to thrive.

Cindy Christensen – Educational Advisor
Cindy Christensen is a retired school superintendent with over 30 years of experience in education. She earned her BS in Elementary Education from the College of St. Francis, her MS in Administration from Illinois State University, and her Superintendent’s Endorsement from Eastern Illinois University. Cindy’s career has spanned roles as a classroom teacher, principal, and superintendent, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the mental health needs of students. She has served on numerous local education boards, advocating for programs that support youth. Cindy’s firsthand experience has shaped her belief in the importance of expanding mental health resources to meet the growing needs of children in Grundy County.
Cindy is happy to lend her expertise in education to GEWC’s mission and support the mental health and well-being of young learners as the Vice President.

Jay Fillman – Secretary/Treasurer
Jay Fillman, a lifelong resident of Mazon, combines his expertise as a financial professional and farmer to support Grundy Eunoia Wellness Center’s mission. Active in community youth organizations such as baseball, softball, and 4H clubs, Jay has long recognized the need for youth mentorship and activities.
As a developer of the CHS Rochelle Ethanol Plant and Seneca Biodiesel Refinery, Jay worked to bring family-sustaining jobs to the area. His eight years on the Grundy County Community Foundation Board helped shape the vision for GEWC, addressing the critical need for youth mental health resources in the region.
Jay feels privileged to bring his leadership and dedication to GEWC, ensuring the center’s mission thrives.

Christina Marie Breisch-Harty – Community Advocate and Healthcare Administrator
Christina Marie Breisch-Harty is a dedicated healthcare administrator and lifelong advocate for community growth and support. As the Administrator for Ortiz Eye and Hearing Associates P.C. in Morris, IL, she brings extensive expertise in healthcare management. Christina holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and an MBA from the University of St. Francis, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and an Associate of Science in Radiology from Southern Illinois University.
A lifelong resident of Mazon, IL, Christina has deep roots in the Grundy County community. Her commitment to giving back is evident in her many years of service. She has been a member of the Grundy County Community Foundation for over 8 years, served on the Mazon Park Board alongside her husband to build local baseball fields, and is an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Kinsman, IL. Christina is also the founder of Four Helping Hands, a community initiative that raised over $25,000 for Special Olympics during their Halloween Haunted House Days. Additionally, her decade-long career at Mazon State Bank included her involvement in the MSB Golf Outing fundraiser, which raised over $100,000 for local causes over 25 years.
Christina’s passion for service, leadership, and community impact makes her an invaluable advocate for the wellness and support of her hometown and beyond.

Susan Dobbs – Juvenile Justice and Behavioral Specialist
Susan Dobbs began her career in 1999 as a Juvenile Probation Officer, dedicated to guiding and supporting youth through difficult times. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Governor’s State University and is a trained facilitator in cognitive behavioral change programs such as Thinking for a Change (T4C) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). Throughout her career, Susan’s commitment to compassionate, non-judgmental care has been unwavering. Her volunteer work with the Grundy Eunoia Wellness Center, Grundy County EMA, and Crime Stoppers underscores her dedication to helping local youth achieve positive growth.

Megan Rose McMullen – Director of Social Media
Megan Rose McMullen is a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician at Pontiac Correctional Center with a passion for holistic healing. She holds a Master of Science in Mental Health and Wellness from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of St. Francis. Megan’s expertise lies in addiction recovery, neurodivergence, and spirituality. Since 2018, she has pursued innovative approaches to integrative medicine, striving to make healing a fun and transformative process. Her ultimate goal is to develop an interactive video game that supports emotional, mental, and physical healing. Megan believes that healing isn’t about simply managing trauma—it’s about learning to hold more joy, love, and goodness in our lives.
